Marine salvage and recovery is the process of recovering sunken ships, their cargo, and any other objects of value from the ocean floor. This includes the retrieval of vessels and their passengers, the removal of hazardous materials, and the recovery of valuable artifacts and equipment. It can also involve the repair and maintenance of vessels and the removal of debris from the ocean. Salvage and recovery operations can be conducted by government agencies, private companies, or individuals.

Our Salvage and Recovery Projects:

Not only did this this marine salvage and recovery project lay heavy demand on our expert dive team, it generously offered the additional challenge of dangerously low water temperatures only adding to  the risk of potential hypothermia   (29F-34F) as well as heavy currents peaking at an incredible 4.5 knots. The team must now confirm their roles, verify the plan and maintain an open line of communication as one minor mishap could put Z and his crew in immediate and potentially life threatening danger.

Finally, after having to enlist the help of an additional light source being that of multiple 4000 lumen lamps, we were able to complete the required water hydraulic pump installation, inspect vessel integrity as well as perform any  necessary hull patching / repairs needed in order to begin the daunting task that lies ahead.
